When I saw this hoodie I was immediately drawn to it- this McQ by Alexander McQueen hoodie strikes the perfect balance between edginess, whimsicality, and art. The graphic, created by famed illustrator Brendan Donnolly for the collection, has an almost Donnie Darko quality to it. More importantly, this collaboration and the intricateness of the rabbit skull print elevates what could be seen as a simple black hoodie to a piece of what I consider to be wearable art. I know this will be a versatile piece I will be able to mix into more casual as well as dressier looks in the future. Pairing this hoodie with a neckpiece was a no-brainer. Nobody has been making a bigger impression on the fashion world in 2017 than J.W. Anderson and while his coveted Pierce Bag has definitely made my must have list, when I saw this striped versatile, zippered neck piece I knew that I had to have it. By pairing these two statement making pieces together I decided to go with my go-to Miu Miu black patent booties, Celine Sunglasses, and a pair of relaxed, distressed Joe’s Jeans in order to strike the perfect balance that could easily transition from a day of shopping to a night of cocktails. In order to achieve this look, pairing a graphic hoodie with a thick scarf, bandana, or neck piece of your choosing will allow you to bring a level of individuality and self-expression.
