Comfort and style don’t always go together….but when they do, isn’t it just so perfect?! Many people (including myself) are trading in their jeans for leggings and track pants. With the right accessories you can give your off-duty look the perfect mix of chic and sporty.

Today’s look is grid print track pant and with a matching sweatshirt. It was one of those outfits I saw on Asos and knew I had to have before it sold out. It is by a brand called Noisy May, which makes both petite and tall collections. If you are going to order from them make sure you are aware of this!! (I have on the petite) I added a beanie and a pair of pointed toe booties for a cool yet relaxed look that can be worn anywhere and everywhere. …and I have officially found the sweater of my dreams.

Oversized & warm, this cardigan is one of those purchases I will live in. Wear it alone or layer it under an even bigger coat…either way you get the cozy feel from this loop cardi. It can bring you through fall, into the holiday season, and last you all winter.

Nowadays, there’s a bit of a rock n’ roll streak running through the lines of several brands. The Ramones, Kiss, ACDC…etc. Fashion’s finest are taking to the streets in rock band t-shirts and jackets, and tearing their items to shreds for an edgier feel. It couldn’t be more true how everything comes back in style.

I found this padded bomber featuring an embroidered ACDC graphic on the chest and printed world tour logo on the back. You could wear it with jeans and a tee for a laid back feel or pair it with leggings as I did today. Underneath a layered knit with a drawstring cowl neck adds a little more warmth. It also is available in a few other colors.

Happy Friday Everyone!!

I posted this outfit on Instagram a few days ago, so I decided to put it up on my blog because something may just surprise you!! We have seen this patch trend from the runways to the streets and on pieces ranging from forever21 to designers such as Stella McCartney, Mira Mikati, Anya Hindmarch, and even Dolce and Gabbana.

Whether you want an artsy or more edgy vibe, the decoration and emoji-style detailing will not let you down. You can wear items completely covered or maybe just have 1 or 2 graphics. Pieces from the designers mentioned above may be a bit expensive for most of us, but that doesn’t mean you can’t join in on the fun. The sweater I have on today is under $20, and I don’t think anyone would ever even know. You can even get creative with this trend….I have seen adorable Iron on and Stick on patches…DIY!!

Hi everyone!!!

I am so excited to be back on the blog today with a new outfit and even more excited for the weekend! Today’s look is one that can take you from day into night. As I am sure you have realized by now the bomber has taken over the fashion world, and it doesn’t look like it is going anywhere very soon. As the temperature begins to drop…coats, jackets, and layering pieces become non-negotiable, and the bomber is the perfect off-duty/cool piece for those on the go.

The bird embroidery and gathered effect on today’s jacket makes it a must-have piece in my opinion. Underneath I layered a cotton tee with lettering graphic “rue Saint-André des Arts” and a ribbed-knit midi skirt for a trendy, yet casual look. I figured I would post this bright and cheerful oversized sweater today with white jeans because it’s Labor Day and you know what that means….

When it comes to wearing white after the holiday what are your thoughts? I know the so called ‘rule’ is a lot more relaxed these days…but many people still refuse to wear white after Labor Day. Personally, I love an all white outfit even in the winter. I think it can be stunning, especially with the right shoes.

Today, I added my favorite pair of Christian Louboutin pumps for a statement shoe. I love the mix of yellow, gold, and pink throughout this look with an added touch of sparkle. Shop below:

I don’t understand how it is already September!! Where did the summer go…

Today’s post has been delayed for a few days because I was in the city but here it finally is! Destroyed mom jeans and a long sleeved crop=a few transitional pieces to hold you over until the colder weather approaches.

I hope everyone is doing amazing! As the summer comes to a close I find myself questioning weather or not to invest in certain items. It is time to start thinking about our cooler-weather wardrobe , but sometimes it is just TOO hard to pass up on certain pieces (hint: today’s tank!!!)

I feel like it has been forever since I have put a new outfit post up on the blog, but I couldn’t be more excited to share how this ‘girls’ knit top purchase can be justified and worn right into the fall and winter.

When it comes to autumn dressing…layers are key…so what makes a tank top any different? For this one in particular, I would add either a black bodysuit underneath, a snug fitting turtleneck or long-sleeve top.

Today, I have it paired with vintage inspired jeans with white eyelet details, and pink patent pumps for an unexpected GIRLy pop. A pink and brown suede bag mixed with silver and black jewelry acts as a perfect combo between street and chic. Shop today’s look below:

Today I am mixing on trend pieces in an unexpected way. I purchased this skirt from Asos at the beginning of the summer with the feeling it was going to sell out (it did) …everything always goes super fast on that site. It is very unique with tiered ruffles and frayed hems.

I am usually such a ‘heel’ girl over flats but I have been trying to shoot more looks where I dress down apparel and make it more practical to wear during the day. With that being said, I decided to pair today’s main piece with a lightweight sleeveless knit, fedora, and classic slip-on sneakers. The allover stripes print gives the look character…making it a little polished yet also a little undone.

Lightweight sweaters are the best for chilly nights and cool mornings in the summer. The fringe hem on this knit makes it perfect for layering other pieces and also gives it a little boho twist. My two major accessories today are a chiffon necktie (which can be worn multiple ways) and a beaded tassel necklace. They add a semi vintage-inspired statement to this textured sweater. Red Threads

Happy Tuesday everyone,

I am loving the look of scarves these days, rather around the neck, as a belt, around a hat or in the hair, they add a certain je ne sais quoi. This one in particular has an equestrian look to it, the brown tones mixed with the red are so elegant. Originally I was going to wear a red shoe but then decided to pull from the brown so I added my calf hair booties for that unexpected punch. No matter, it's still all about this scarf for me. I went from having it around my neck to tying it around my head and you are probably going to see me wearing this look at least a few times this summer as I play around with this accessory. Today I decided to wear sleek white wide-leg pants and this red and white striped off the shoulder top, another popular look this summer. I am all pink today (my favorite color!!) This is another outfit I purchased from the crazy sale happening at Intermix. Both this sweater and these shorts are now marked under $100.

This sweater is a pretty pink rib crew neck that can be worn all year and layered into any look and I paired it today with these tailored jacquard shorts. I love the charm and subtle beauty of the pattern because it is so glamorous and does not need any further embellishment (unless you want to add it of course). I have been seeing very similar pieces out for the fall and a ton of heavy and luxurious fabrics combined into both clothing and accessories. This is definitely a trend to look for. Rise and shine, the weather is so gorgeous today that I am not going to waste one second. I started my day with an early barre class, a quick coffee run and then going from there. You just can't resist getting out of the house and enjoying the day when it is so nice. It's the weekend,

Although it's dreary out today,  I shot this outfit a couple of days ago. Because I am only 5 foot 2 I usually always wear heels, but lately I am so into sneakers and flats. I just love the way they look with dresses, skirts and just about everything these days, not to mention the comfort level. Today I paired them with this colorful dress from Mink Pink, which is a great throw on to just run errands and go about your day. I think I am more of a dress girl than pants so you will probably see this kind of look on me over the summer. I borrowed this straw hat from my mothers closet (thanks mom) and I seem to be adding to my hat collection a bit more. I have had my eye on these straw boater hats which I think are so cute. Today I decided to share one of my favorite skirts!! It is a little older now but I am still as in love with it as I was the day I bought it. I love mini skirts…especially ruffled and layered ones for spring and summer. They are stylish, youthful, and have so many styling options.

This one from Alice & Olivia I actually wore on my 22nd birthday. Black floral appliqués dress up the scalloped tiers of the party-ready skirt. It may remind you a little bit of an older post I did Heart of Gold (another favorite of mine).

This orange cotton sweater is the perfect now-and-later- layer. With the weather so up and down lately, getting dressed in the morning can be pretty confusing. I shot this all white look last week before heading to New York City for fashion week. Red accent pieces make it perfect for Valentine’s Day and the soft fringe adds a cute and cozy feel.
