Good morning and happy hump day everyone!!

The weather has been so hot and cold lately…literally. I am soo not ready to take out all of my heavy winter coats, but this knit fall outfit makes the transitioning just a little easier. I decided to pair these metal detailed leggings with the matching zip-up cardigan for a retro/chic look. Some people may gravitate to the skirt instead, which is also listed below.

When I first saw these Miu Miu booties in the store…it was love at first sight. Patent leather shoes are so chic and these belt-like fastenings are just beyond. Not to mention…the pointy-toe and chunky heel reflect the themes of the FW15 runway show. They are not available online, but I have picked out some similar favorites.

Thanks for stopping by today!! XOXO

Beanie Weather

Sweater:Vince|Boots:Stuart Weitzman|Beanie:Autumn Cashmere (currently not available online)

I am unsure why it is soo hard to find a nice oversized black sweater…but it is. This one by Vince is a bit of a splurge, but it will take you through fall and winter with ease. It is incredibly soft and can look chic from day to night.

It may have been really nice out these last few days, but winter aka beanie weather is around the corner and all of the cute ones always sell out fast. This snowflake pompom one is by Autumn Cashmere. They always have super cute sets. Last year I purchased a matching leopard beanie, scarf, and glove set which is still one of my favorites from them. Unfortunately, this snowflake one is currently not available online but I will keep checking in and keep you posted. Below, I rounded up pieces from this look and some of my favorite winter beanies this season. Keep in mind that cold weather accessories can make awesome holiday gifts!!

Sometimes casual style=the best style

This effortlessly chic dress by BB Dakota masters casual wear.  The bold and color block knit makes as the perfect dress for warmer days and the perfect layering piece for when it cools down. You could add leggings, jeans, a belt, and even a collared shirt….talk about versatile.

Today’s accessories include suede booties, a slim crossbody bag that also converts into a clutch, and a scarf draped over my shoulders. This bag is also available in other colors if you were to decide to go with the blue or tan version of this dress. Shop this look below:

Shades of Gray

One of my favorite boutiques to shop at in my area is Circles. They offer some of the most sought after designers such as DVF, Joie, Rag & Bone, Theory, Splendid, Veronica Beard, Nicole Miller Etc. Three pieces of today’s look can be found at the store- this jacket (Splendid), skirt (Joie), and boots (Vince). All pieces are favorite’s of mine this season.

I love that the long knit sleeves on this anorak give such a cozy vibe for the cold weather…not to mention are designed with a tribal inspired pattern. In addition to the striped tee and scarf layered underneath, I added this high-waisted wool skirt with an exposed front zipper, which is the perfect wardrobe addition. Suede booties are a must this fall and this pair fromVince offer the perfect touch and are also selling out fast!! Shop them below along with other items from today’s look. I hope everyone has a great weekend! Enjoy.

Zip Knit

Sweater:Asilio|Denim:Stella McCartney|Boots:Vince

Today’s outfit is really unique for two reasons. The first being the obvious…..this awesome zippered knit from one of my new favorite brands Asilio. The details on it transform your average sweater into something much, much cooler, while also giving a breath of fresh air.

The second being…these Stella McCartney jeans were originally bleached with a pink tone (we had a little mishap with the washing machine….oops!!). Anyway, now I have a new pair of jeans.

This look is very laid back. The cropped sweater adds the perfect touch of femininity for a comfortable, yet chic look paired with suede booties. You can shop this look and similar below (minus the pink Stella jeans!!):

Fall Magic

Sweater:TopShop|Pants:TopShop|Shoes:TopShop(Similar)|Bag:Mansur Gavriel (sold out)

You can expect to see me in a lot of TopShop this fall. I have been finding the pieces to be the perfect mix between the catwalk and the street. Today’s entire ensemble is indeed- TopShop.

I paired this cropped retro sweater with ivory trousers. There are a lot of details in these pieces that just seem to work even though they are different styles. From the black tassels on the sweater, button details on the pant pockets, and even the wrap-around tie fastening on the shoes…there is definitely some fall magic happening here.

Side note: These shoes were a favorite of mine last season and I could not be happier to see them yet again this year in suede and all different colors!! Shop this look and similar below!

Boom

Sweatshirt:MSGM|Skirt:Derek Lam (last seen here)|Pumps:Alexandre Birman(older)

And just like that….BOOM… it's Monday again.

I love graphic tee's for the summer but when the weather starts to cool down I like to look for graphic sweatshirts and other layering pieces for the fall and winter. These pullovers (that come in various styles) can be our answer to in-between-seasons dressing, but more importantly statement pieces that can be paired with unexpected separates.

I paired this sweatshirt from MSGM with a checkered, knit skirt from Derek Lam (one of my favorites.) I think it adds a really cool element to this look, not to mention the color red is always so striking.  Shop more from this look below.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great week!

London Calling

Cheerio!

London fashion week has just come to a close, but I thought it would be the perfect time to share this fabulous skirt while London is still on everyone’s mind! The detailed red telephone booth and bus are a unique statement on this cool midi-skirt.  I paired it with my cropped mock neck knit from Milly and lace up leather pumps (which also come in red)

Yesterday I spent the day shooting a bunch of new looks to share, and when I got on the elevator to shoot some rooftop shots something happened that could not have been scripted. My hands were full and I dropped my phone….into the elevator shaft…you know that little slit the size of a penny….and down it went…2 entire floors.  We all stood there in shock like did that seriously just happen…then burst out laughing. I cannot tell you all of my experiences with cell phones. Anyway, long story short I ended up getting it back after a few phone calls were made and there was not even 1 single crack on the screen. Talk about luck!

I hope today’s look is totally your cup of tea!! Thanks for stopping by.
